State of the School Address - February 4th
Please plan to attend the State of the School address on Tuesday, February 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium. Learn more about our reorganization, planned growth for the future, and LCA’s current financial health. Get to know the members of our Board and hear more about plans for Legacy’s future!
Traffic Reminders
Traffic backup on Hwy 68 (Home Ave) during drop-off and pick-up times has become an issue for drivers trying to get through Home Ave. If you are coming north on 68 or coming from 35 and exit at Home Ave, please enter campus through the Union Road entrance by the light at the Highway Patrol. This will prevent a backup of cars waiting to turn left onto Legacy Way.
A few reminders:
- Please pull all the way forward in the line to help us get more cars off the main road.
- Elementary families - remember to follow your color placard time for arrival.
- Green 2:45 - 2:55
- Yellow 2:55 - 3:05
- Blue 3:05 - 3:15
- Secondary families -please do not park or idle in front of Barnett facing the wrong direction.
- Remember, there is no parking allowed on the east side of Wesley Avenue.
- LCA's campus has 4 entrances and exits - Home Ave, Union Rd, Lake St, and Wesley Ave through the AIA athletic fields entrance. Utilizing multiple entrances and exits will help reduce congestion.
Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe flow of traffic for emergency vehicles and the employees of our campus partners as they arrive and depart from work. We are a shared campus, and want to respect the needs of our campus partners as well as community traffic on Home Ave. Thank you for your understanding and support as we all work through these traffic issues together!

LCA Blood Drive
LCA will be having its annual Blood Drive on Wednesday, February 5. Students and adults are both welcome to sign up during lunchtime. Day of Prayer and Service
Our Day of Prayer and Service on February 21 will emphasize sharing the gospel, supporting foreign missions, and praying for missionaries. LCA students, please connect with leaders in your church to gather the names and details of missionaries supported by your church so that we can pray for them on this special day.
Chess Club Location Change
Beginning Wednesday, January 22, Chess Club is moving to the CAFETERIA after school for its weekly gathering. Parents, please pick up your child outside the cafeteria building going forward.
