Spring Concerts

The spring music concerts are coming up! The 4th-6th grade concert is Saturday, April 27th at 5:30pm, the PK-3rd grade concert is Friday, May 3rd at 5:30pm, and the secondary concert is Saturday, May 11th at 7pm.

Music at the Parks

Congratulations to all the secondary band, choir, and strings students who participated in Music at the Parks last Saturday! Each ensemble competed against other local schools in their category at Loveland High School and then celebrated their achievements at Kings Island. The ensembles were awarded as follows:

• JH and HS Combined Choir: 2nd place in their category with a rating of Superior
• HS String Orchestra: 1st place in their category with a rating of Excellent
• HS Band: 3rd place in their category with a rating of Excellent
• JH Band: 4th place in their category with a rating of Excellent
• JH Strings: 3rd place in their category with a rating of Good

Drive With Care On Campus And Nearby Neighborhoods

Please drive safely in the neighborhoods next to campus and on our campus - paying heed to hand and verbal directions from adults in orange vests who are managing student safety in crosswalks and other areas. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!

National Teacher Appreciation Week May 6th-10th

National Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6th - May 10th 2024. To show our appreciation for the Legacy faculty and staff, the Teacher Luncheon Committee will be hosting activities and a Teacher Appreciation breakfast Friday, May 3rd.  If you would like to participate in the activities and/or breakfast, please click here to review the available opportunities to provide support. If you are interested in helping, please sign up by April 26th. Thank you for helping us honor and show our appreciation to our wonderful teachers and staff!

Parent Alert Update

Beginning April 8th, messages from Parent Alert will have a new short code. Parents, please save the new short code 317065 to your saved contact for Legacy. If you do not save this code to your phone, messages from Parent Alert may display as an unknown sender, or may not come through at all. Additionally, any families that previously opted out of receiving Parent Alert text messages will need to re-opt out by texting STOP.

Financial Aid & EdChoice

All full-time students in grades K-12 are eligible for an EdChoice scholarship. For more information about EdChoice, please click here or contact Erin Blake at eblake@legacyknights.org or 937-352-1388. 

As a reminder, Financial Aid is awarded yearly and must be applied for annually.  Please follow the link here to our website for more information regarding LCA Financial Aid and LEAF scholarships, as well as instructions for applying.

Cafeteria Announcements

April Lunch Menu: Find the lunch menus here.

MySchoolBucks: There is a $3.25 processing fee for all online cafeteria credit/debit prepayments beginning on March 7, 2024. You are always welcome to send in a check (payable to Legacy Christian Academy) or cash to the school with no processing fee.

National School Lunch Program: LCA is a sponsor of the National School Lunch Program, which enables the availability of the free and reduced lunch program to school families.

To see if your students qualify, apply to the Free and Reduced lunch program. The application is available on the school website (here), in the main office, or from the school Food Service Director, Mrs. Strickle. To contact Mrs. Strickle, email lstrickle@legacyknights.org.
