Please follow these step-by-step instructions to create an application for the sibling of your LCA student. This will connect to your account and preload information into the new application.
- Log into your FACTS Family Portal
- Click on “Apply/Enroll” on the left (you may need to scroll down)
- Click on “Application”
- Click on “Click Here to Open Application”
- Fill in the information and click “Submit” on the bottom of the page
Spirit Week
Spirit week is Next Week! Below are the attire themes for September 16-20:
Monday - Beach Day (Shorts, tropical shirts, sunglasses, etc. No swimsuits)
Tuesday - Character Day (Book characters, superhero characters, historical characters, etc.)
Wednesday - 90s Day (Secondary Students: Bring class t-shirt to change into for Tailgate in the afternoon)
Thursday - Sports Day (Secondary Students: Bring class t-shirt to change into for Tailgate in the afternoon)
Friday - Twin Day (Match another student in your attire)
Please review the dress code instructions from pages 75-78 in the Handbook regarding jeans, athletic wear, and appropriate attire for this week. Students are expected to come to school in normal LCA wear on Monday through Thursday and Spirit wear with jeans on Friday if they are not participating in the attire themes. Secondary students may bring athletic shorts of appropriate length for Tailgate days as many of the activities involve running and getting wet.
Tailgate (Junior High Help)
Junior High Parents, we need your help in providing water/ chips/ snacks for Tailgate (September 18-19) to be stored in the auditorium lobby. We are asking for…
- Families with last names A through H bring one case of bottled water (a 24 to 48 pack will do).
- Families with last names I through P bring snack bags (i.e. boxes with individual chips, popcorn, etc.).
- Families with last names Q through Z bring packages of trail mix, granola bars, other snacks.
Homecoming
High School Students: Homecoming is September 21st! Remember - approval of formal attire is required in order to attend. Ladies, please send your pictures to femaleformals@legacyknights.org and gentlemen, yours will go to maleformals@legacyknights.org. Please see page 79 in the Parent Student Handbook for guidelines regarding attire for homecoming.
Secondary Students: Day of Prayer and Service
Secondary Students: Our Day of Prayer and Service is Friday, September 27th, and you can find the schedule here! Permission slips will be sent out next week, so please be sure to look for those in an email. Please print, sign, and turn them into Mrs. Kinsel by the end of next week.

Legacy Christian/ Xenia Christian Alumni Association
We are planning some events and activities in support of our LCA/XC alumni! If you are a former XC or LCA student, will you please take a few seconds to fill out this form? Spread the word to any alumni you may know about the following upcoming alumni opportunities, like and follow our Facebook Alumni Page.
Our first Alumni Night will be at the Homecoming Men's Varsity soccer game on Friday, September 20th. The Junior class will have concessions and hog dogs for sale!
We are also planning an Alumni Basketball Night on Tuesday, January 28th at the Varsity Girls' and Boys' Basketball Games vs. Urbana which will be hosted in the new Athletes in Action Wooden Family Center, a beautiful new facility on the AIA grounds.
The third Alumni Night will be during the Spring Musical, on Friday, April 25th. We invite alumni and families to join us for the musical and for time before/after in the cafeteria to meet with other alum, teachers/staff, and look over old yearbooks and mementos.

Elementary Cheer
Any parents with a daughter in grades K-6 that are interested in coaching cheer or being a team mom, please contact Kylie Magill. There will be an informational meeting scheduled in the coming weeks. This is also for any returning coaches.
Moms in Prayer
Moms in Prayer will be meeting on Mondays from 8-9am. They will meet outside, but if the weather is bad, they will meet in the Barnett upper level conference room. You must sign in with the main office first!

Dads in Prayer
Dads in Prayer is getting started! If you are able and interested, join with other dads of LCA students on the first Friday of each month to pray for the school and our students. We meet at 6:30am at LCA. Our upcoming meeting will be on October 4, 2024.
