LEAF SCHOLARSHIPS

The Legacy Education Affordability Fund (LEAF), a 501(c)3 Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO), solely exists to collect donations and award scholarships to Legacy Christian Academy students.

While all students at Legacy Christian Academy are eligible to apply for a scholarship, awards will be prioritized for students with demonstrated financial need, with priority given to low-income families. Award amounts may vary.

To apply for a LEAF scholarship, please contact the LEAF board at their email address, leaf1sgo@gmail.com, to request instructions.

JON PETERSON SPECIAL NEEDS (JPSN) SCHOLARSHIPS

LCA is a provider for the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship program that allocates scholarships to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district.

The amount of each JPSN scholarship will be based on the primary disability condition identified on the student's Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and will not exceed limits prescribed by the ODE. Students must be enrolled in the JPSN scholarship program for the entire year to receive the full scholarship amount.

More information on this Ohio scholarship program can be found here.

ADDITIONAL LCA FINANCIAL AID

Legacy families with financial need who have exhausted other scholarship opportunities for which they are eligible may apply for additional financial aid. Additional financial aid is not guaranteed, and EdChoise and SGO scholarship awards for which a Legacy student is eligible must be received by Legacy before additional financial aid is considered. Completion of the FACTS Application for Financial Aid through the FACTS Family Portal is required for consideration of additional financial aid. FACTS charges an application fee of $45 to apply.

Legacy Christian Academy reserves the right to select students on the basis of academic performance, religious commitment, lifestyle choices, and personal qualifications including a willingness to cooperate with Legacy Christian Academy administration and to abide by its policies.
