Legacy Christian Academy, founded in 1967 as Xenia Christian Day School, is a private, college-preparatory, non-denominational PreK-12 school that seeks to equip leaders for Christ. Students meet admissions standards both academically and spiritually. LCA’s 450 students come from a 5-county area. LCA is located on the historic site of the Ohio Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Orphan’s Home and facilities include four buildings: two academic buildings, a gymnasium, and a 750-seat auditorium. LCA also uses athletic fields located on the Athletes In Action campus, located within walking distance from the school. LCA is fully committed to maintaining an ethnically/culturally diverse faculty and student body within a biblical community.

Coaching Opportunities:

  • Head Varsity Boys Wrestling Coach: Legacy Christian Academy is seeking a head varsity boys wrestling coach who can build on the success of our wrestling program. Interested candidates should be a dynamic Christ-follower, Christian-education driven, and a strong communicator who is organized and has leadership skills. Previous head varsity coaching experience is required. The head coach will be responsible for the overall leadership of our boys wrestling program – elementary through high school. The position will remain open until filled.
  • Head Varsity Girls Softball Coach: Legacy Christian Academy is seeking a head varsity girls softball coach. Interested candidates should be a dynamic Christ-follower, Christian-education driven, and a strong communicator who is organized and has leadership skills. Previous head varsity coaching experience and playing experience is preferred. The head coach will be responsible for the overall leadership of our softball program. The position will remain open until filled.
  • Varsity Swimming Assistant Coach: Legacy Christian Academy is seeking an assistant varsity swimming coach. Interested candidates should be a dynamic Christ-follower, Christian-education driven, and has leadership skills. Previous coaching experience and competitive swimming experience is preferred. The position will remain open until filled.

Substitute Opportunities:

 

Substitute Teacher

We are looking for dedicated Christians to serve as substitute teachers in grades pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. We provide a Biblically-based curriculum and an environment to instill the love of Christ and God’s Word. Searching for candidates with flexibility in substituting for various grade levels and subjects.  A bachelor’s degree and either an Ohio non-tax certificate, Ohio Substitute Teaching License, or other teaching credential is required. To apply, please complete the LCA Employment Application. Substitute Cafeteria Cook

There is an immediate opening for a substitute cook in the school cafeteria. Substitute Nurse

We are looking for several dedicated Christians to serve as substitute nurses when the need arises for coverage in our school clinic. If you are a licensed nurse in the state of Ohio and would be available to serve in an on-call basis, please contact our school nurse, Jamie Hartsell, for more information.
