MULTIMEDIA COMMUNICATION AND MARKETING COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME
 

Summary:

The Multimedia Communications & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating marketing and digital strategies to raise brand awareness in support of our mission - Equipping Leaders for Christ. This position plays a pivotal role in communicating information to stakeholders and works closely with internal departments at LCA.

Legacy Christian Academy, founded in 1967 as Xenia Christian Day School, is a private, college-preparatory, non-denominational PreK-12 school with the mission of Equipping leaders for Christ. Students meet admissions standards both academically and spiritually. LCA’s 575 students come from a 5-county area. LCA is located on the historic site of the Ohio Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Orphans’ Home and facilities include four buildings: two academic buildings, a gymnasium, and a 750-seat auditorium. LCA also uses athletic fields located on the Athletes in Action campus, within walking distance from the school. LCA is fully committed to maintaining an ethnically/culturally diverse faculty and student body within a biblical community.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Full support for LCA’s mission, vision, philosophy, core values, and statement of faith
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to promote the school and attract prospective families
  • Responsible for ensuring timely, creative, and accurate multimedia content and information
  • Create a variety of branded content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with the LCA mission to include print materials, digital and printed newsletters, social media posts, videos, infographics and presentations
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal employees and departments on various projects, many of which are time-sensitive
  • Oversee the organization’s website editorially and strategically, including content and analytics
  • Assist with communications to include message development, writing and editing
  • Obtain an ODE issued certificate to work in an Ohio nonpublic school prior to employment
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned, including student oversight and discipleship

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Passion to serve and lead in a Christian environment with the mission of Equipping Leaders for Christ
  • Understanding of Christian education and Christian worldview integration
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficient skills in social media platforms and graphic design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently and meet specific deadlines

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 5 years experience in a similar role, particularly in a school setting
  • Extensive knowledge of, and experience with website design and social media platforms
  • Experience with SEO, AI and video making
