Legacy Christian Academy, founded in 1967 as Xenia Christian Day School, is a private, college- preparatory, non-denominational PreK-12 school whose mission is Equipping Leaders for Christ. Students meet admissions standards both academically and spiritually. LCA’s 600 students come from a 5-county area. LCA is located on the historic site of the Ohio Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Orphan’s Home and facilities include four buildings: two academic buildings, a gymnasium, and a 700-seat auditorium. Additionally, LCA utilizes the Wooden Family Fieldhouse and the athletic fields located on the Athletes in Action campus, located within walking distance from the school. LCA is fully committed to maintaining an ethnically/culturally diverse faculty and student body within a biblical community.

Position Summary
The Print Shop Manager oversees the daily operations of the school’s print and production services, ensuring high-quality materials that support staff, students, and the broader school community. This individual manages all print requests, production schedules, equipment maintenance, and inventory of print supplies, providing reliable and efficient service that aligns with our commitment to Christ-centered excellence. The manager serves as the primary resource for faculty and staff regarding print processes, project planning, and design preparation. They ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective production while maintaining organized workflows and proper documentation of all print jobs. This role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and exceptional organizational skills. The Print Shop Manager must be in alignment with our mission of Equipping Leaders for Christ, serving with professionalism, stewardship, and a heart for ministry.  

Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma  
  • Obtain an ODE issued Educational-Aide or Permanent Non-Tax Certificate prior to employment 
Ideal Qualifications
  • Five years experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Print Shop Operations & Oversight:
  • Manage the daily operations of the school’s print shop, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely production of all print materials.
  • Receive, review, and prioritize print requests from faculty, staff, and administrators; communicate timelines and project status as needed.
  • Operate and maintain all print shop equipment, including copiers, printers, and binding machines, ensuring proper functionality and coordinating service when required.
  • Oversee quality control for all printed materials.
  • Maintain inventory of paper, toner, and other print supplies; monitor usage and place orders to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Track and document all print jobs, costs, and materials used to support budgeting and resource planning.
  • Assist staff with design preparation, file formatting, and troubleshooting to ensure print-ready materials.
  • Create itemized billing invoices for external entities.
  • Train and supervise student aides or part-time staff working in the print shop, when applicable.
  • Implement and refine workflows to maximize efficiency and stewardship of school resources.
  • Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of sensitive documents, such as assessments, student information, and administrative materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 
  • Collaborate with departments to anticipate large projects, seasonal needs, and school-wide print deadlines. 

    Living Curriculum Representative:
  • Pursue excellence in the position at all times, maintaining a consistent heart attitude of working for the Lord and not for men (Colossians 3:23).
  • Humbly serve others in a manner that reflects Christ’s love and character (Philippians 2:3), modeling godly character and encouraging others to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1).
  • Serve as a minister of the gospel (Matthew 28:19-20) in leading other employees and Legacy Christian Academy students and families by example and instruction in thought, word, and deed (Philippians 4:8-9).
Miscellaneous Service:
  • Participate in assigned LCA safety and security roles (e.g. door duty, lunch duty, recess duty, early room duty, fire drill and lock down procedures).
  • Serve in LCA’s discipleship and class mentor programs as assigned (e.g. Chapel attendance, Day of Prayer and Service, Class Mentoring).
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Knowledge and Skills
  • Skilled in utilizing Google Suite applications, including Google Drive
  • Ability to use a variety of printing equipment
