Spirit Week Dress Guidelines & Themes

Spirit Week is a fun time for students to celebrate school spirit and creativity! While themed attire may not match the usual daily uniform (LCA polo, khaki pants/shorts, LCA outerwear, etc.), all outfits must still follow the LCA dress code standards for appropriateness.

It’s not too late to join!  Download a membership application here, complete, and drop off with dues payment in the Main Office by Thursday, Sept. 25 for a signup bonus!  Dues are $25; cash, or a check made out to LCA.

Planning an Upcoming Absence?

If your family has a trip or other planned absence on the horizon, please fill out the Application for Student Leave of Absence (found HERE) two weeks ahead of time.

While these types of absences are considered unexcused under Ohio's attendance laws, getting the leave pre-approved is important. Approval ensures your student can make up any missed assignments, and it helps our teachers plan accordingly.

Please note that it is your student's responsibility to connect with their teachers before the absence to collect work and make arrangements for their return.

Chess Club

After a successful Chess Club meeting last Wednesday, there is room for more students! If your child is interested in joining, please email their teacher or Ashley Harrison. To ensure parental consent for this after-school program, there must be confirmation by Tuesday evening. Upon confirmation, a permission slip will be sent to you, requiring a signature and return by Wednesday. Please be advised that your child will be unable to participate in Chess Club if a signed permission slip is received. Thank you!
