Admissions Push: Help Us Spread the Word

Admissions season is officially here! After two weeks of accepting Sibling Applications, we are excited to open applications to all mission-fit families.

It is also time to display our Admissions yard signs again! If you already have one from last spring, please put it back out. If you need a sign, you can pick one up in the main office to help us spread the word.

OHSAA Winter Athletics Meeting

All Middle School and High School athletes need to plan on attending this informational meeting. After the main session, teams will meet with coaches for specifics on the upcoming season.

DATE: November 2 (moved from previous date due to Girls Soccer Postseason Tournament Game)

TIME: 7-8 p.m.

LOCATION: LCA Auditorium

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection & NHS Teddy Bear Drive Kickoff

On November 4th, Legacy Christian Academy will be participating in our annual Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection and NHS Teddy Bear Drive! 

Elementary School

Your child's teacher has shoeboxes available to be filled! This is your opportunity to partner with Samaritan's Purse and impact the world for Christ — one child at a time. Want to participate but can't fil an entire box yourself? Stay tuned for more information over the following weeks. Children should bring their filled shoeboxes back to your teacher before November 18th.

Middle School and High School

The National Honor Society is once again excited to sponsor a stuffed animal drive to benefit Shoes 4 the Shoeless. Stuffed animals (basketball-sized) may be brought in beginning on Wednesday, November 4th through Wednesday, November 18th. These will be donated to the organization Shoes 4 the Shoeless as gifts for local children that will be attending a Christmas party hosted in the LCA Gymnasium. More information will be given in chapel on October 28th. If you have any questions, please see an NHS member.

Fall Play — ‘The Hobbit’

Legacy Christian Academy is proud to present The Hobbit, Patricia Gray’s stage adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved tale, November 12-14. Follow Bilbo Baggins as he leaves the comfort of home and embarks on an unexpected adventure filled with danger, humor, friendship, courage, and dragons!

Tolkien’s story reminds us that courage can be found in unexpected places and that even the smallest among us can have a great purpose. Come journey with Bilbo as he discovers that stepping out in faith and facing the unknown can lead to something extraordinary.

EVENING PERFORMANCES: November 12th & 13th at 7:00pm in the LCA Auditorium (doors open at 6:30pm).

SATURDAY MATINÉE: November 14th at 2:00pm in the LCA Auditorium (doors are 1:30pm).

Online and at-the-door ticket sales available HERE ($16 for adults, $6 for students and 65+). Cash/Check discounted presale tickets available in the Main Office until November 9 ($10 for adults, $3 for students and 65+). Note: Everyone attending the play will need a ticket, including current students.

Open Your Heart & Home: Host an International Student

We are looking for TWO families to host an international student.

We currently have two students from Cambodia—one 9th grade boy and one 9th grade girl—who are eager to study at LCA and experience life in our community. Hosting an international student is a deeply rewarding opportunity to share Christian hospitality, impact a young life through an LCA education, and build lasting global relationships.
