Support Christian Education at No Net Cost

This is possible by giving through Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN), our recommended Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO).

Financial Assistance

If financial assistance is needed, please refer to the options listed on our Financial Assistance webpage. The FACTS Financial Aid portal will be available only after EdChoice and SGO awards are determined. Please contact Jill McClain with any additional questions about aid options.

If your circumstances have changed, and you plan to withdraw a student for the 2026–2027 school year, please contact Jinnifer Daugherty no later than February 28, 2026, to avoid the withdrawal fee.

EdChoice Renewals

LCA is now accepting EdChoice renewal applications for the 26/27 school year. Renewal applications may be emailed to Erin Blake or dropped off at the main office. Please include a recent utility bill for proof of address.

Host Families Needed

We are seeking host families for potentially several International high school students in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. If you are interested in hosting an International student or would like to learn more, please contact Jinnifer Daugherty.

Missions and Evangelism Day

We have a very special event coming up for our secondary students on Friday, March 13! The day will focus on Missions and Evangelism with several guest speakers on campus sharing with our students about their ministries, training students on how to express their faith, and providing opportunities for students to be equipped to share the gospel. Students will be divided into small groups, with an adult leader, engaging in discussions, praying, and attending workshops with our guest speakers. Part-time students should email Mrs. Kinsel to let her know if they will be attending all day or not so that we know whether to place them in one of the small groups.

Course Requests Now Open

As students begin selecting their courses for the upcoming school year, we want to keep you informed about the process. Students have until February 16 to submit their course requests through our online system. In the coming weeks, you will receive a parental permission email asking you to review and approve your child's selections—parents will have until February 23 to respond.

Please note that these are course requests and are not guaranteed; final schedules will depend on course availability, class sizes, and scheduling constraints. We encourage you to discuss course options with your student before the deadline. If we do not hear back by the deadline, the school will make course selections on the student's behalf.

Interested in Student Senate? (MS - HS)

Interested in being part of our Middle School or High School Senate leadership groups next year? Be on the lookout in the coming weeks for information from your principals in their “Principal Pen,” sent every Friday and in an email sent to their respective grade groups. These communications contain the Senate Handbooks providing the expectations for Senate leaders along with the application and reference forms that must be completed and submitted by March 25.

Cindy McDaniel: Interim Print Shop Manager

Cindy McDaniel is a graduate of Cedarville University with a Bachelor’s degree in History and minors in Political Science and Bible. Her teaching experience includes Kokomo Christian School (Indiana) as well as Heritage Christian and Xenia Nazarene in Xenia.

 In addition to her classroom experience, she spent fifteen years working in Print Services at Cedarville University and five years serving as a Teaching Assistant in Cedarville’s History and Government Department. Most recently, she has been serving as a substitute teacher at Legacy and Tecumseh Elementary.

Cindy has always felt called to work in a Christian school. She desires to encourage and model Christian character so that students develop deep spiritual roots thatcan endure difficult seasons of life and bear lasting fruit. One verse Cindy finds inspirational is:

Jeremiah 17:7–8:

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,

Whose trust is the LORD.

He is like a tree planted by water,

that sends out its roots by the stream,

And does not fear when heat comes,

For its leaves remain green,

and is not anxious in the year of drought,

for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

Outside the classroom, she enjoys drinking chai, sewing, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
