LEAF Scholarship Application - Message from the LEAF Board

Dear Legacy Parent,

• Here is the link for the LEAF Scholarship Application.
  • Click on the link & request access (you will be notified when access has been granted).
  • Answer a few questions and upload the first page of your 2024 Ohio IT-1040 Tax Return to LEAF's secure portal.
• The initial deadline was May 1, 2025, but applications are still being accepted.

Legacy Knights Numismatic Society

Our final meeting of 2024-25 will be our Annual Auction, Monday, May 12, 3-5(ish) pm, in the School Cafeteria.  We will use our new LKNS tokens for the first time for bidding!  Annual earnings statements, along with info on how students can earn more auction money, have been sent already.  Please continue to watch for emails and texts as the date nears.  Try to finish up those projects and get credit by the April 28 meeting!

The Annual LKNS Awards will be held in conjunction with Awards Chapel for the elementary grades on Wednesday, May 21 (the last day of school) in the Auditorium.

Secondary Awards Assembly - May 16th

Secondary Parents, our Secondary Awards Assembly will take place on May 16 during our final chapel hour of the year. Please feel free to join us as we recognize both Academic and Character achievements of our students and honor them! Seating for parents and guests will be towards the back while our students fill in the front (this event is required for all students, including Seniors).

A Knight To Remember 2025 Class Gift Basket Donations  

As we gear up for our Annual Fundraising Dinner and Auction, we are excited to invite you to be a part of something truly special for our school community. One of the highlights of the event is the silent auction gift baskets. As part of the auction baskets, different grades create a one-of-a-kind basket packed with amazing goodies that represent family fun and teacher favorites. This is where you come in! We would love your support in contributing to your child's class gift basket.

By donating, you not only help raise funds for important school improvements, but also create a memorable experience for your child to see how their class basket comes together. Together, we can make this year's auction a huge success!

Calling all VOLUNTEERS! We are so thankful for all you do here at LCA. As the school year winds down, and we gear up for the 2025-2026 school year, we need your help. Please contact Ashley Harrison, Volunteer/Alumni Coordinator, to update your profile in the areas that you wish to serve. We want to ensure that you are ministering and serving where the Lord has called you. Also, please note that if your volunteer application is expiring soon, please update it by reapplying; A reminder will be sent out!  We look forward to ending the year strong as we move into next year, giving God all the glory, GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE!

Spanish Teacher Hire

Having taught overseas in Paraguay and Costa Rica as well as in the US these past 24 years, Cynthia "Tia" Reilly is excited to return to Legacy Christian Academy where she worked from 2010-2017. Mrs. Reilly has taught both English language arts and Spanish language instruction on the secondary level. She graduated from Cedarville University with a bachelor degree in English and later with a master degree in secondary education. She has a certificate in Spanish from the Rio Grande Bible Institute (Edinburg, Texas) and also a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages certificate.

Mrs. Reilly enjoys her role as wife, mother, and grandmother. Her hobbies include photography, piano, puzzles, and hanging out with her dog Truly.
