URGENT — Back-to-School Forms MUST be signed

All back-to-school forms must be completed EVERY YEAR for every enrolled student in grades K–12. Legacy uses FinalForms to collect and manage these required forms. Please complete your child’s back-to-school forms as soon as possible.

COMPLETE YOUR BACK-TO-SCHOOL FORMS HERE

Need help? HERE is a step-by-step Parent Playbook with detailed instructions.

Returning families: Most forms should automatically pre-populate with information from last year. Please review the information carefully and update anything that has changed.
New families: You will need to create a new parent account and complete the required forms for each child enrolled at Legacy.
Students in (Grades 6–12): Students will also need to log in using their Student account to sign certain forms themselves.

Drop-Off/ Pick-Up Procedures UPDATE

Dear Families: Thank you so much for your patience and cooperation as we made significant adjustments to our traffic patterns and drop-off/pick-up line procedures. Change is difficult, and we are a community that adjusts to change well!

A few notes:
  • Neighboring organizations have requested that Legacy families NOT use their parking lots during drop-off and pick-up. So, please follow the drop-off/pick-up plan HERE.
  • The elementary carline – as well as MS/HS pickup – has been wrapped up by 3:15 p.m. each day for more than a week now! That is the same time as in previous years.
  • To keep HS student drivers out of the elementary pick-up line at the end of the day, HS student drivers may not exit campus to Lake Street (the way they enter campus in the mornings). HS student drivers must exit campus on the south side of Barnett as shown on the map HERE (black arrows).
  • Elementary families:
    • Please pull all the way up in the drop-off/pick-up line to help us safely load and unload as many children as possible in each wave. Your children are doing great at walking behind the cones. Thank you for encouraging and reminding them to do so.
    • Please slow down when you see the Legacy employee (usually Mrs. Black) inputting your family number from your vehicle placard. Wait for her to signal you the go ahead. If she does not get your number in her device, your child(ren) will not be ready for you when you get to the top of the pick-up line, and you will need to circle back around.
    • We regret that we are not able to accommodate walk-up parents picking up at the auditorium after school. However, elementary children remaining in the auditorium at 3:15pm when the elementary car line ends, move to the Main Office. Parents may pick up their children at the Main Office after 3:15pm.

Back-to-School Health & Wellness Reminders

As we kick off the year, the school clinic would like to share a few quick reminders to help keep our classrooms safe, healthy, and ready for learning.

By practicing a few simple habits, we can work together to protect our entire school community:
  • Wash Hands Frequently: Encourage your child to scrub with soap and water for at least 20 seconds throughout the day.
  • Cover Coughs & Sneezes: Teach your student to catch coughs and sneezes in their elbow rather than their hands.
  • Avoid Touching Faces: Remind children to keep their fingers away from their eyes, nose, and mouth to stop the spread of germs.
When to Keep Your Student Home
To prevent illnesses from spreading, please keep your child home if they are experiencing:
  • A fever of 100.0°F or higher
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • General fatigue or feeling unwell
Return-to-School Policy
Students may safely return to school once they are symptom-free for 24 hours. This means:
  • Fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
  • Vomiting/diarrhea-free for 24 hours.

Thank you for your partnership in keeping our school community safe and thriving. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the clinic.
