Day of Prayer and Service

We are looking forward to our first Day of Prayer and Service on Friday, October 24!

On this special day, our high school students and a number of middle school students will be serving throughout the community, while the remaining middle school students will participate in meaningful service projects on campus. Our elementary students will join in by creating encouraging messages for local community leaders and partners.

Students who may be participating in service projects that could leave them dirty should bring a clean change of clothes to wear before our closing hour of worship, which will bring everyone together to celebrate the day.

Although middle and high school classes will not follow a regular schedule, attendance is required. Students should report to their first-period class by 8:00 a.m. for attendance before being dismissed to their assigned service locations.

In the event of inclement weather, off-campus service opportunities may be postponed or canceled (as several groups will be working outdoors), and we will follow a normal class schedule instead. For this reason, it is important that all students are present.

Our Day of Prayer and Service is a wonderful opportunity for our students to put their faith into action and share the love of Christ with our community. Thank you for your continued partnership and prayers as we prepare for this meaningful day!
