The May Mission: Support LCA with a Yard Sign

Support LCA by displaying a Legacy yard sign throughout the month of May!

We will use the yard signs during our future admissions and enrollment seasons. We will send out communication in the Knightly News whenever it's time to display the sign and let you know when and how long to leave it out.

We know many families head out on vacation once school lets out, so after May, the signs can easily be stored in your garage or shed.

Pick up a sign in the Main Office if you are interested!  First come, first served until they’re gone!

Please Welcome Jinnifer Daugherty — New 4th Grade Teacher

Jinnifer Daugherty is excited to serve as a 4th grade teacher at Legacy Christian Academy. Jinnifer earned her Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University.  She brings over 12 years of classroom experience in Christian education.

Jinnifer lives with her husband Jim and two of their four sons. They have two married sons and daughters-in-love and Jinnifer values the moments when they can all spend time together. In her free time she loves being outside whenever the sun is shining and enjoys serving in preschool at her church.

One of Jinnifer's favorite Bible verses is Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” (ESV)

Please Welcome Ron Rossman — New Secondary Bible Teacher

Ron Rossman is excited to join Legacy Christian Academy as a Secondary Bible Teacher. After encountering Christ as a high school student, he felt an early call to ministry and the teaching of God’s Word. He began his undergraduate studies abroad in Brisbane, Australia, where he earned a Diploma of Ministry Studies. He then returned to the United States where he completed his Bachelor degree in Biblical Studies from Lancaster Bible College, graduating with cum laude honors and a minor in Student Ministry. After graduation, Ron worked in ministry as a youth pastor in Colorado and New Mexico before returning to his home state of Ohio.

Ron lives with his wife, Bri, and their two children Emma and Skyler, and loves being a father and husband. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Languages and is passionate about studying God’s Word and sharing it with others! In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling with his family, and is currently teaching his kids how to play baseball.

A verse that has been especially encouraging to Ron over his lifetime is Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose” (ESV). He memorized this verse as a teenager, and it has served as a constant reminder of God’s faithfulness to him for the last twenty-two years!

Please Welcome Hailey Smith — New 4th Grade Teacher

Hailey Smith is excited to join Legacy Christian Academy as an elementary teacher! She is a Cedarville University graduate and earned a bachelor’s degree in Primary Education with a minor in Bible. She is passionate about helping students grow academically and in their relationship with the Lord.

Hailey is originally from Heath, Ohio, but moved to Xenia after graduating. She loves spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and reading. At her church, she serves in children’s ministry and sings on the worship team.

A verse that guides her is Psalm 119:105, “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (ESV)
