Spirit Week Dress-Up Days (K-12) — September 21–25

Get ready to show off your school spirit all week long! Dress up, have fun, and join in on each day’s theme!

MONDAY - Movie Character Monday (dress like any family-friendly/ Legacy Approved movie character)
TUESDAY - Twin Day (match someone in clothing, hairstyles, etc.)
WEDNESDAY - Wacky Wednesday (mismatched clothes/shoes/socks/inside out/weird hair)
THURSDAY - Themed Shirt Day (Integrity Shirts)
FRIDAY - First Letter Friday (Dress up to represent the first letter of your name)

See You At The Pole

High School Senate would like to invite members of the LCA Community to See You At The Pole.

DATE: Wednesday, September 23rd

LOCATION: LCA Flagpole

TIME: 7:45am

WHO: K-5 with parents, 6-12 with or without parents

Everyone is welcome to join us for a time of praying for our nation, our leaders, our school, and our friends.

Tailgate and Homecoming Soccer Game

Join us between the AIA football field and Wooden Family Fieldhouse for our pregame tailgate. Bring games and food to share while we fellowship.

DATE: Thursday, September 24th

LOCATION: Athletes in Action Sports Complex (Football Field)

TIME: Pregame Tailgate at 3pm, Junior Varsity at 5pm, and Varsity at 7pm

WHO: The Entire LCA Community (K-12), Xenia Christian and LCA Alumni, and friends

If the varsity team wins, it would secure their second straight Metro Buckeye Conference Championship, fourth in team history!

Early Release at 12:30pm and HS Homecoming Dance

On Friday, September 25th, LCA will operate on an early release schedule. There will be no lunch provided, and the Elementary Pick-Up line will begin at 12:15pm. Dismissal for Middle School and High School will be at 12:30pm.

In the evening, the Class of 2027 is hosting the 2026 Homecoming Dance, Disco Glitz!

DATE: Friday, September 25th

LOCATION: Legacy Gym

TIME: 6:30pm - 9:00pm

WHO: High School Students

All students must submit their attire for pre-approval by Monday, September 21st at 4pm (femaleformals@legacyknights.org, maleformals@legacyknights.org). For all dress code guidelines, please reference page 82 in the parent student handbook linked HERE. According to page 49 of the parent student handbook, all students must be in full attendance during school hours on Friday the 25th if they want to participate in the Homecoming Dance. If there are any questions regarding the approval time or process, please contact Mr. Miller.

Homecoming Parade and Fall Festival

The LCA Community is invited to join us for an afternoon of food, fun, music, games, and time together as a community.

DATE: Saturday, September 26th

LOCATION: Legacy Campus (Click HERE for the Parade Route)

TIME: Parade at 2pm, Fall Festival at 3pm

WHO: The LCA Community (K-12) and friends

LCA Book Fair

The Reading Round Up Book Fair is coming to the LCA Library from September 28th — October 2nd.

• Monday–Wednesday: 8am-4pm (School Days)
• Thursday, 8am-5pm and Friday, noon–7:30pm (Parent/ Teacher Conversations)

Middle School Cookout

Don't miss out on the upcoming Middle School Cookout!

When: October 10 from 4:00-7:30pm

Where: The field behind Lincoln

Who: All Middle School students and their families

We will provide the main course for the meal, but please use this sign-up genius to indicate what you can bring for sides and desserts along with any activities you might be able to lend for the evening. There will be a fire pit, so feel free to bring ingredients for s'mores! Please also bring your own camping chairs for seating.

Come and enjoy an evening of food, fun, and fellowship planned by our own Middle School Senate Members!  We look forward to seeing you! 

Day of Prayer and Service

Our first Day of Prayer and Service is on October 23rd! If you know of a ministry or church that could be blessed by having Legacy students serve on their property, please reach out to your principal with this information. Working hours accumulated during our Days of Prayer and Service will be allowed to go towards the required semester service hours for middle and high school students. School will start and end on location this year, with students choosing from a list of service projects. Additional information is coming soon from your division principal.

Open Your Heart & Home: Host an International Student

We are looking for TWO families to host an international student.

We currently have two students from Cambodia—one 9th grade boy and one 9th grade girl—who are eager to study at LCA and experience life in our community. Hosting an international student is a deeply rewarding opportunity to share Christian hospitality, impact a young life through an LCA education, and build lasting global relationships.
