Academic Achievement: Congratulations Remy Pavon

Legacy Christian Academy is proud to announce that senior Remy Pavon has been selected as a Semifinalist in the 72nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

Academically talented high school seniors across the nation have the opportunity to continue in the competition for nearly 6,700 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $24 million offered next spring.

“Remy is an exceptional young man whose dedication, industriousness, and commitment to academic excellence distinguish him as a Legacy student and as a member of our school community. Being named a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist is a tremendous honor and a well-deserved achievement of his hard work. LCA Picture Day — September 17

All-School Picture Day will take place on Thursday, September 17th.

PLEASE NOTE: All students are required to wear a polo, oxford, or jumper with the Legacy Christian Academy academic logo for picture day. Athletic logos, ¼ zips, and/or outerwear are not permitted in school pictures on school picture day (please refer to page 81 in the Student and Parent Handbook).

Spirit Week — September 21–25

Get ready to show off your school spirit all week long! Dress up, have fun, and join in on each day’s theme!

MONDAY - Movie Character Monday (dress like any family-friendly/ Legacy Approved movie character)
TUESDAY - Twin Day (match someone in clothing, hairstyles, etc.)
WEDNESDAY - Wacky Wednesday (mismatched clothes/shoes/socks/inside out/weird hair)
THURSDAY - Themed Shirt Day (Integrity Shirts)
FRIDAY - First Letter Friday (Dress up to represent the first letter of your name)

See You At The Pole

Members of the LCA Community are going to assemble at 8:00am in front of the auditorium by the flagpole on Wednesday, September 23rd for See You At The Pole. Everyone is welcome to join us for a time of praying for our nation, our leaders, our school, and our friends.

Fall School Uniform Sale

Educational Apparel will be hosting a Fall School Uniform Sale in the LCA Cafeteria on Tuesday, September 29th, from 4:00pm - 7:00pm.

Day of Prayer and Service

Our first Day of Prayer and Service is on October 23rd! If you know of a ministry or church that could be blessed by having Legacy students serve on their property, please reach out to your principal with this information. Working hours accumulated during our Days of Prayer and Service will be allowed to go towards the required semester service hours for middle and high school students. School will start and end on location this year, with students choosing from a list of service projects. Additional information is coming soon from your division principal.

Open Your Heart & Home: Host an International Student

We are looking for TWO families to host an international student.

We currently have two students from Cambodia—one 9th grade boy and one 9th grade girl—who are eager to study at LCA and experience life in our community. Hosting an international student is a deeply rewarding opportunity to share Christian hospitality, impact a young life through an LCA education, and build lasting global relationships.

2025-2026 Yearbooks

The 2025–2026 Yearbooks have arrived. The high school and middle school yearbooks were distributed during lunch this week, and the elementary yearbooks were given to students by their teachers. Each student who attended Legacy last year should receive a yearbook. If your student did not bring one home this week, please pick up your copy in the main office. 

Last year’s seniors are warmly invited to come get their yearbook at the Alumni Tent during the homecoming soccer game. It’s a great opportunity to catch up with friends, teachers, and cheer on this year’s team. Extra copies will also be available for last year’s seniors in the main office.
