Safety Reminder

As our student body continues to grow, it’s more important than ever to prioritize safety—particularly during drop-off and pick-up times.

Before/After School: No students are to be on the playground or in the fields without a parent present with them. Parents desiring to allow children to play must wait until after the close of the school day at 3:15 p.m. Please DO NOT park in the Employee Lot until after 3:15 p.m.

Parking lot directly behind Lincoln (by the gate at the Lake Street entrance, near the playground): This lot is reserved for Employee Parking and PreK Drop Off/Pick Up only. This is a safety issue for our smallest students. Unless you have a neon tag to drop-off/pick-up a PreK student, please do NOT drop-off/pick-up your students in this parking lot to prevent unnecessary car movement. Families who have students in both PreK and K-12 may drop-off/pick-up all students in their family together in the PreK lot (with their neon PreK tag).

MS/HS Students: When waiting after school for a ride or your bus by the Main Office in front of the Lincoln Building, please pay attention to the arriving cars and/or buses so that you do not slow down the car line or miss your bus! This time is not for climbing on trees, throwing a football, playing tag, etc. In addition to creating distractions during this busy time, these activities are too close to busy roads during drop-off and pick-up and create a significant safety concern.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and orderly environment during these busy times of the day.
