I love the verse below because it describes what happens in my music classes. I love teaching all ages because music is for all ages. God created us to worship and praise Him through music. When someone must sing or play something new, they must learn how to read music and its notations as well as learn how to play the instrument. The second part of the verse to “play skillfully” describes a person who is intent on giving their best for the Lord and not giving up! When we can play skillfully it brings honor to God and sounds great! Attitude is everything! We are to do all things with a cheerful heart. When we approach learning something new, we know there will be difficult moments, but God is right there to help us through each moment and that is exciting and worth shouting for joy! Working at LCA gives me the opportunity to share my love for God and music to students who are eager to learn an instrument!
