Philosophy & Vision

Philosophy

God has established His authority along with principles and laws to order the universe and form the foundation for all that we do.  He instructs parents on how to rear and guide their children (Ephesians 5:21-33).  He has designed responsibility and order for the church.  He has established sowing and reaping principles (Galatians 6:7-10) and has given us guidelines concerning authority systems that include the church, the government and the home (Romans 13:1-7).  God holds us accountable for the life we live (II Corinthians 5:10; Ephesians 5:15; Matthew 25:15).

The Bible puts our world in context and explains our fallenness and what Jesus has done to redeem us.  As we follow Him, He guides toward a path of productivity for His good pleasure.  We are motivated and led in ways unimaginable to a godless society.  The learning and growing process is a natural outflow of our maturity and our desire to glorify our Creator.  God has asked us to make a difference in our culture, acknowledging Him while upholding His principles (Genesis 1:28).

We are to be wise and thoughtful about our allegiances, our goals, and our priorities (Ephesians 5:15). We want to bring our best of mind, spirit, soul, and strength (Deuteronomy 6:4) together with the family and with the Body of Christ, and live an “Abundant Life” (John 10:10) that is pleasing to Him.

Teachers, coaches, mentors, and the Body of Christ are key components as we join with parents to prepare (disciple) our students for this service-oriented, purpose-driven life (Colossians 1:28-29; Luke 6:40; James 3:1).
