“I have no greater joy than to hear (and see) that my children are walking in the truth!” - 3 John 4

Dear Parents,

Legacy Christian Academy kids are giving us a lot of JOY!!

Wait until you see what our kids do this weekend in the musical…Unbelievable!! Get your tickets and invite your friends!

This morning, at the Greene County Community Report banquet, Eric Knowles and Tommy Hoskins were given high honors as Greene County achievers in athletics and Drew Brads as a national Rubik’s Cube champion.

The baseball team is having a great season! They have won 8 games in a row and are undefeated in the Metro-Buckeye conference.

Our track team has individuals and relay teams on pace for state-level competition.

And get ready for a great day next Friday – so many of you are helping us with the all-school Day of Service!

You will be amazed at what our seniors are doing and where they are going. No doubt, they are counting the days until their open houses and graduation (May 25 at Patterson Park).

I’m sure you are a proud parent!!! But being a parent also means doing the work along the way to teach character, discipline, hard work, and the heart issues that Jesus walks us through in His Word. LCA is glad to partner with you as we strive toward the goal of getting our kids ready to make a difference for the Lord in every avenue of life.

And if we come up with a few awards, a few tears of joy, and maybe even a standing ovation or two… then all the better!!

Have an awesome weekend—see you on “the yellow brick road”!

In His Grip,

Dr. Bragg

Legacy Christian Academy Family,

What a beautiful week!  Fun to be a part of so many school activities.  The musical production is coming to the end and making those finishing touches for big performances next weekend!  We have track records falling, a five-game winning streak from the baseball team, softball and tennis doing well, testing, academic progress, and we had an amazing chapel presentation today from our Costa Rica team!  It is good to be a Knight!

We are pushing out phone calls and text messages to remind you that we need you to get your re-enrollment complete this week.  If you did not get a chance to check out my silly video from last week, it is posted here again: http://www.legacyknights.org/about-us/videos.cfm?videoid=10#detailid_218778.  The reminder is we need your help!  Not 20% of you, but all of you in regards to giving, participating and talking up the school. We are making hiring decisions, program decisions, maintenance decisions and all these are dependent on a strong budget which is dependent on fully engaged, Body of Christ participation!!  Your words plus the tools for your yard etc. will help us to reach those who God wants to have here at LCA next year.

Enjoy a longer weekend and praise the Lord for His goodness to each of us this Easter Sunday!

In His Grip,

Dr. Bragg

Legacy Christian Academy Families,

Have you heard of the Pareto Principle? It is also known as the 80/20 rule, the law of the vital few which basically says that 20% of the people do 80% of the work and give 80% of the money for an organization or a project. I know I have a lot of goals and vision for the future. I know I want the LCA families to do all kinds of things! And often it feels like I am saying the same thing to the same people. So today, I am talking to the 80% (Actually our school is so good, and so amazing, our Pareto Principle is 40/60). So, I am talking to the 60% who do not normally jump in.

We need you!

Consider this math, if 40% gave $710,000 over the last 1.5 years and the other 60% did their part…We would have $1,775,000 for our school!! Can you imagine!! I would have to beg you to stop, quite giving, we cannot take any more!!

Same thing is true of talking about the school. We need you to share with your neighbors, church friends, pastors, and family members all the good things about LCA. And today, and for the next several weeks, we have tools for you to use (Check out the video this week - http://www.legacyknights.org/about-us/videos.cfm?videoid=10#detailid_218778 ).

  1. Tri-fold information packet
  2. Decals –Knights and Legacy – coming this week
  3. License plate frames
  4. Yard signs
  5. Point to our website/Facebook

We do want to reach more people concerning the mission and benefits of LCA! But it is also an issue of growth to the perfect size to have all the right programs and the dollars to pay for those services. And to get this done, we need to beat the Pareto principle! We need to show our world that LCA does not limit ourselves to 20% or even 40%! We ignite the whole Body of Christ to engage in a way that makes our school the best of the best, creating a noticeable difference for the cause of Christ!!

So in review, do not be afraid to give! We need it, we can use it, and we will not turn you down or push you away! Talk up the school. Use the tools we have. And pray for us. We want to be good, effective, a blessing to you and more, as we teach our kids to learn and grow to impact our society for the Lord.

See ya at the pickup line!
